Designer brand often worn by Princess Kate slashes hundreds off handbags in sale

Shoppers don’t have to spend thousands to follow in the royal’s footsteps where stylish accessories are concerned.

British brand Aspinal of London is a much-loved maker of luxury leather goods, including bags, travel accessories and stationery.

Like many designer brands, its premium products can cost up to thousands of pounds, so they are an investment.

It’s recently launched a rare sale including the Midi Mayfair bag, which Princess Kate has been seen wearing different shades of on multiple occasions.

The Black and Silver Netted Dogtooth is reduced from £695 to £417, and features the signature Mayfair design with top handle and angular silhouette.

There was also a reduction on the Black Chevron Raffia & Smooth Black design, which has unfortunately sold out, however it’s worth keeping an eye out in case stock returns.

For everyday wear, running errands or heading out on weekend shopping trips, the Essential Tote in Navy Saffiano has plenty of room for all the essentials and is made from full-grain leather.

To add a pop of metallic to an outfit, the Micro Lottie Bag is small and compact, making it the ideal size for evenings out.

It’s discounted from £450 to £270, and has a stylish chain strap, lock closure, and can be personalised with initials too.

For those not on a budget, Kate’s exact bags are still available, they’re just not in the sale.

The Princess of Wales has previously been seen sporting the Midi Mayfair Bag in the Soft Taupe shade, which is a neutral and versatile option for regular wear.

The Black Patent Croc version is also a firm favourite of hers, but investing in one of these two will set you back £595.

Those on the lookout for affordable alternatives could browse M&S’ leather section, which includes stylish tote, shoulder and crossbody bags.
